Steps to launch a new Campaign - example for Odoo

Step 1: Audience Preparation

Goal: Target Odoo partners and similar profiles on LinkedIn.
  • Process:
    • Scrape data (company names, URLs, locations)
    • Clean list: Remove duplicates & format for LinkedIn
    • Upload to LinkedIn → Campaign Manager → Matched Audiences → Company List
    • Wait approximately 48 hours for audience matching

Step 2: Landing Page & Lead Capture

  • Purpose: Capture interest from Odoo partners, communicate integration benefits
  • Tracking: Ensure UTM parameters are applied for each ad variant

Step 3: Creative Development

  • Ad Formats Used:
    • Static images (3 versions)
    • Video ads (2 versions)
    • Lead gen forms (3 versions)
  • Design Guidelines:
    • Image Ratio: 1.91:1 or 1:1
    • File Type: JPG, PNG, or GIF
    • Max Size: 5 MB
Ad Copy Guidelines:
  • Intro Text: Max 150 characters
  • Headline: Max 70 characters
  • Call-to-Actions: “Download Now,” “Book Demo,” “Get Free Access”

Step 4: Campaign Segmentation & Launch

  • Upload company lists per geo (US, Canada, Africa)
  • Layer with filters: Skills (ERP, Odoo), Job Titles, Company Size

Step 5: Supporting Content

  • Blogs - considerstaion
    • Odoo to Shopify…
  • Add Demo or Product Explainer video
  • Create relevant Case study like Rezolv

Step 6: Performance Optimization

  • Daily Monitoring:
    • Click Through Rate (CTR)
    • Cost per Lead (CPL)
    • Impressions
    • Lead Form Completions
  • Weekly Adjustments:
    • Pause low-performing creatives
    • Reallocate budget to top-performing regions or personas
    • A/B test ad copy and visuals
  • Retargeting: Set up dedicated campaigns for users who visited landing pages or watched 50%+ of video ads

Step 7: Reporting & Learnings

  • Key Metrics:
    • Total Spend
    • Leads Captured
    • Cost per Lead
    • Conversion Rate (e.g., demo booked / lead submitted)
